Swedish glass artist åsa jungnelius depicts lipstick, high-heels and phalluses in her work. unlike other glass makers, jungnelius aims to explore a variety of concepts in her glass works, genre, consume, behavior, beauty ,....,You name it,she got it! Many of her pieces take ordinary objects like lipstick or nail polish and blow them up to surreal proportions in glass. jungnelius studied in the US and sweden and is currently a designer at kosta boda, the world renowned swedish glassworks.
Asa creates delicate impossible objects that are unusual and different compare to other artist.
Although Åsa’s artwork is always leaking into the feminine, she also works with topics such the taste (good or bad) and the social categories.
